COPTER AIDED RESCUE SAVES A LIFE.
Far away from medical help on the Hyderabad-Raichur highway Chandrashekar Matti(60) of Hubli had chest pain a couple of days ago.Shifted to a hospital of raichur, is conditione declined. Then followed a helicopter aided medical rescueact that saved chandra shekar's life.

When the patient suffered a massive heart attack at the Raichur hospital, his relatives got in touch with the Sagar Apollo Hospital's cheirf Cardiologist Dr.Uday B Karnolkar in Bangalore for help.Alongside his medical reports are faxed to the hospital from raichur.

This set off the rescue mission which culminated in which chandrashekar being airlifted to th Apollo Hospital on a Deccan Aviation helicopter.

An angioplasty and stenting procedure has since performed on the paient under the supervision of Dr.Karnolkar and Chandrashekar should be well enough to leave for home.

In just about four hours the time he reached Raichur, critiacally ill, chandra shekar was under Intensive care at the hospital
